CHRISTOPHER KANE FOR BALENCIAGA ? NOTHING CONFIRM YET

Christopher Kane spokesperson says he's not in Balenciaga.    and we got to have settled its going to take long for reveal the name as in the past with Dior and Raf Simons' hiring. Of all the names put forth as possible successors to Ghesquière as Alexander Wang, Joseph Altuzarra, Mary Katrantzou;  Kane seemed to be the the most certain choice-for now. He’s the talented fashion designer coming up from london critically acclaimed-one to follow.  Kane definitely shows his versatility designing his own line and Versace's second line--Versus. Just to be clear thre's nothing confirmed yet.
Grazia France is reporting that House of Balenciaga and Cristopher Kane himself have disclaimer this information friday evening.
CutElle is reporting that no successor has been named and won’t be for the next two or three weeks–which doesn’t take Kane out of the running.
WWD is now reporting that Christpoher Kane has denied the move. A spokeperson for Kane told the trade. “Rumors surrounding Christopher Kane’s appointment as creative director of Balenciaga are unfounded.”
Elle France is reporting that they’ve heard back from Balenciaga and the house would not confirm that Christopher Kane has been named Ghesquière’s replacement.

DESIGNERS
Karl Lagerfeld Thinks Bernard Arnault Should Invest in Nicolas Ghesquiere
by DHANI MAU

Karl Lagerfeld has weighed in on what Nicolas Ghesquiere should do post-Balenciaga in what may be one of his most reasonable interviews in recent memory.

Reuters caught up with Lagerfeld at the opening of the Chanel Little Black Jacket exhibition in Paris today where he told them:

Perhaps Nicolas wants to have his own label, which is not a bad idea. And it would not be a bad idea if somebody such as Bernard Arnault would invest in a new label because there are so many old labels (within the LVMH group).
All completely rational, sound opinions that we definitely agree with.

As usual (except that one time he said Haider Ackermann might be suitable to replace him at Chanel), he wouldn’t discuss his own succession. Bruno Pavlovsky, president of Chanel’s fashion division, said, reassuringly, that “Karl is in great shape, I work every day with him and I can assure you that he is doing very well.” But, is he? These quotes are so restrained and logical that it’s making us a little worried.
